Terry Marks-Tarlow, PhD, is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Santa Monica, California. She has authored and edited numerous books on clinical intuition, creativity, interpersonal neurobiology, and nonlinear dynamics, all of which she illustrates herself. Her latest offerings include Mythic Imagination Today: The Interpenetration of Mythology and Science (Brill, 2021) and A Fractal Epistemology for a Scientific Psychology: Bridging the Personal with the Transpersonal (Cambridge Scholars, 2020). She is adjunct professor at Santa Barbara Graduate Institute as well as California Institute of Integral Studies. She has also co-founded and curated a yearly exhibition of psychotherapist art sponsored by the Los Angeles County Psychological Association entitled “Mirrors of the Mind: The Psychotherapist as Artist.”
