Ms. Woods' face is of a Black Man from Anytown, USA.
Her inspiration was simply to honor a Man. A Black man who is loved. She said she thought of her son, her brother, her friend, her father and even the nice man down the street.
Ms. Woods created him appealing that we "Say His Name," with the understanding that a simple exchange of events could add a Black man to the long "Say His Name" list. Because he is loved, we say his name.
